Michael (he/him) is a Japanese-American Actor and Professional Figure Skater based in Los Angeles, CA. He’s has appeared in tv shows such as Cobra Kai, Shameless, and S.W.A.T. He plays the role of Insu in the award winning animation film “True North,” which depicts the reality of life in North Korean prison camps. Playing the role of Insu, Michael became passionate in telling stories that shines a light to the voiceless. Michael is also a professional figure skater who won the Junior Olympics when he was 14 years old. He has performed in world-class ice shows in many countries. He has worked as a skating choreographer for a segment in HBO’s Euphoria. Michael attended Soka University of America, a university devoted to fostering global citizens based on developing mutual respect for all life. Michael is excited to be affiliate with REP and is excited to create content that will allow all of us to self-reflect.
